The awards ceremony of the “China LED Pioneer Award” jointly organized by China Illuminating Engineering Society and the Semiconductor Lighting Technology and Application Committee was concluded at Beijing Convention and Exhibition Center on Apr. 14. Many leaders from industry associations attended the event and presented awards to the winners. Over 100 LED companies from different provinces, cities and regions participated in the event.

Under the principle of “fairness, equity, and openness”, the selection event announced the awards. HC Semitek won the “China LED Pioneer Award” Excellence Award for its flip-chip LED chip products.

For flip-chip LED chips, the light-emitting area and electrode area of chips are not designed on the same plane, while electrode surface facing the bottom of the packaging lamp cup is mounted without the process of wire bonding. Thanks to its low voltage, high luminous efficiency and high stability, LED flip-chips are gradually adopted by most domestic lamp manufacturers for street lamps and special lamps.
