HC Semitek demonstrated new LED lighting chips at Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition held at Pazhou Exhibition and Convention Center on Jun. 9-12. It also held the “chip lecture” event to explain the secrets of chips, which was a great crowd-puller.

On Jun. 9, a senior technician of HC Semitek chaired the “Chip Lecture” event to introduce HC Semitek’s technology and new products. In the morning, “Secret of LED Chips” event introduced the manufacturing process of LED epitaxial wafer and chips, and explained new technology for improving the white LED light extraction efficiency as well as the characteristics of HC Semitek chips. In the afternoon, the technician analyzed the advantages of “Yao” serial flip-chips and explained the usage from the perspective of medium and high power LED super-drive. For the cost-effective application of general lighting, HC Semitek proposed a systematic cost-saving solution: “Yi” serial high-voltage chips – chip-side series connection.
