Nov. 22, 2017 was a great day for HC Semitek. The groundbreaking ceremony of the second-phase project of HC Semitek Limited, Zhejiang was held at Yiwu Information Optoelectronics High-tech Zone. Lin Yi, the Mayor of Yiwu; Mr. Zhou Fuyun, Honorary Chairman of HC Semitek Corporation and President of HC Semitek Limited, Zhejiang; and Liu Rong, President of HC Semitek Corporation attended the ceremony.

The project of HC Semitek Limited, Zhejiang is an especially major industrial project in Zhejiang, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. The second-phase project with an investment of 3 billion yuan covers an area of nearly 95,000 square meters and a building area of 150,000 square meters. The second-phase project will have an unprecedentedly high capacity of LED chips, and raise the bar for LED chip manufacturing. HC Semitek will also enter a new stage of development. By that time, HC Semitek Yiwu factory will achieve an annual output of 12 million pieces of LED epitaxial chips and 52 million pieces of sapphire substrate materials. It is expected to realize an annual sales income of 6 billion yuan and pay an annual tax of 1 billion yuan, and also generate over 6,000 jobs. after its completion, this project not only speed up the localization of LED chips for semiconductor lighting in China, but also cut the production cost of terminal products, and lay the foundations for China to become a global power in terms of the LED sector.

starting with this groundbreaking ceremony, HC Semitek endeavors to finish and put into operation the second-phase project as soon as possible, become the most competitive world-renowned LED company, become the ambassador for manufacturing in Yiwu, and contribute the manufacturing industry of Yiwu.
